This website has been produced and prepared for the CEN Wetlands Education Project on behalf of the Community Environment Network Inc. and funded by the NSW Government through its Environmental Trust.

The purpose of the project was to provide public access to wetland information, progressively collated by various authorities and agencies, for the three (3) Local Government areas, namely Gosford, Lake Macquarie and Wyong. The information in question, in the form of mapping, characteristics and attributes, taken from a range of reports and electronic data, has been brought together in the form of a searchable website.
