School students from cities and towns across Australia will be joining together to strike for the Climate on Septemeber 20.
Most of us have never met in person before but are united by our concern about our planet.

Energy Alternatives will cover the alternatives to fossil fuels, how the home owner can help while saving money and the pathway to a renewable electricity network and electric vehicle fleet. Jo Muller will present on the benefits of rooftop solar and control of household demand by such as through installation of LED lighting. Replacement of our electricity generation system will also be discussed.
The first of a series of climate related forums, the Heat, Pollution and Health Forum will focus on the impacts of global warming on our health. A combination of increased heat, intense heat waves and air pollution from coal burning power stations is resulting in increased disease and death. Dr Kim Loo will present on the increasing risks we face and the impacts she sees on her patients with further support from her fellow doctors.
